- The development process overall
I created a fictional character named princess wonka. The whole plot is that princess wonka is trapped in a castle, she needs to collect different coins and beat some of the enemies to set herself free. The overall aesthetics is retro and vibrant. With the background music, I used a clip from Lexie Liu’s track - 「GO PSYCHOTIC!」to fit with the retro game concept.
- Successes (What went right)
I think the overall vibe and visuals turn out quite well with each other
- Failures (What went wrong)
It should have more levels, it is now an infinite loop between level 1 and level 2 so it is less playable
- Lessons Learned (What did you learn from your failures or how did you overcome them)
It was the first time of mine building up a game, I paused a lot of time with the tutorials, and there was always some
Coding problems which were very “invisible” to me,
- Future Development (If you were to continue working on this game how would you improve it)
I will definitely loop the game and give more levels to it. I would also add more assets to it, maybe some more enemies, some more coins or some background drops such as grass, castles, etc to make it more unified and together.

I think Princesswonka's journey concept and the infinity passage(level transfer) interaction are well connected.
