PostMortem


In this project the art style/aesthetic was our success. This game is supposed to be a cute fun experience of NYC and the art is what makes that possible. We did however have some things go wrong. Coding was a struggle in this project. A lot of scripts where broken or took a lot of time to fix which delayed the progression of the project and let to us not doing everything we wanted. This leads us to what we learned which is that we shouldn’t take coding for granted. Even if it’s a simple script we need to take the time to polish it because there are a lot of simple mistakes that can make them not work. For future development we would add enemies to the level to make it more competitive and polish the code.
